Biharis win - at last - Think twice before opting Coalition!!

Politics - my next love and I've been following Laloo since 1990-91. Here's my views on the Bihar Election Results.

The Biharis won at last - they somehow have managed to co-ordinate among themselves to hand out the worst possible deal to 'Laloo'. In fact, Laloo also played into their hands by not being generous to the Congress before the election. The only block that can't loose anything from here is the NDA.

Paswan - if he opts for the President's rule - he can't go and beg for votes to the Biharis at least for the next 10 years (He'll be projected as an irresponsible leader). If he supports NDA, then the irony that "he can't breath without Power" (remember - since 1996 - he has somehow managed to be part of every one of the Union Ministry and managed to move out when he doesn't get the deal he wants) will let his image slide. If Sonia manages to keep Paswan 'biting the best bone possible' (Railway or Telecom Ministry in exchange for his support to Laloo), he'll be projected as a selfish dog who can do anything for biting the bone he likes.

Congress has done itself into a huge hole by joining hands with Paswan. An irresponsible act considering that it is heading the Union Government. They also have to keep watching - b'cos Laloo has been betrayed by them and he'll wait for the best chance to have a biteat them. He's a Joker - better watchout for him.

Laloo - at last people have managed to vote him out (or not? - We've to wait). People will pray that he doesn't start taking revenge on them.

NDA can better sit back and enjoy the show - b'cos participating in the race now will do them no good.

Bihari's might have won - at the expense of India - remember - Laloo has enough arithmetic to make Congress surrender in UP to Mulayam and in Tamil Nadu to Kalaignar to make sure that the show at the Center keeps running in case Laloo backtracks in his unconditional support to the Union Government. Sonia has lost the only consistent supporter of hers since 1998 - Will she be able to make amends?

Not Paswan - Sonia has to play the Kingmaker's role in Bihar - that'll help her to do some damage control for Congress....She has done it before. It has always been more of internal troubleshooting (within the Congress).

Biharis won - at last. But, people - it is time to opt for a stable Government - We've seen enough of coalition....

Think of it!!!!

A logic on Cricket World Cup 2003

As I love cricket more than anything else, here's my first post to welcome you all:

There was a logic spreading around before the Cricket World Cup 2003 that India would definitely win (the World Cup)... It did make a lot of sense to believe it at that point of time, a very interesting observation, too... It goes as follows:

World cup started in 1975. Leaving that year's Edition, following list shows the winning captains:

1. 1979 - Clyve Lloyd - Left Handed Batsman
2. 1983 - Kapil Dev - Right Handed Batsman
3. 1987 - Allan Border - Left Handed Batsman
4. 1992 - Imran Khan - Right Handed Batsman
5. 1996 - Arjuna Ranatunga - Left Handed Batsman
6. 1999 - Steven Waugh - Right Handed Batsman

I hope you would have got the logic by now...

If the logic had forced it's way through, Ricky Ponting who was a Right Handed Batsman would have been eliminated straight away.... Of the Left Handed Batsman Captains in-charge of the teams in that World Cup, Saurav Ganguly had a far better chance compared to what Stephen Flemming or Brian Lara had...

Very interesting... Isn't it?

The way in which the Aussies thrashed the Indians - I honestly felt that they defeated the "Meaningless Logic" more than the Indians...

By now, you would have found out why is time getting wasted in my life (as stated in the description) :)

Serious: Moral of the Story: "FACT is far ahead from LOGIC"
